The portrait of the failed artist as a spoiled brat. In 1987 he moves from New Zealand to London. Now in his late twenties he paints unpopular photo-real paintings while avoiding all actual work. Disillusioned with this world and disgusted by himself he prints the word 'fuck' onto underwear, pyjamas and novelty clothing and opens a pop-up shop off Oxford Street to sell these products. He hopes to create a Situationist furore with a lurid courtcase and minor rioting while demonstrating the stupidity of fashion and the evil of capitalism with a swipe at petty bourgeoise mores and the hypocrisy of censorship. Might as well, while you're here.
