The Seventh Path is the story of the struggles of the residents in the Great lakes basin of North America 150 years after a global economic collapse.
A young girl is given the quest to protect knowledge and keep her people from sliding into mystical ignorance. She grows into a mother and a grandmother before she can set out on her quest. In the end, she discovers that she has been on the last path straying from her quest, the seventh erroneous path and through personal suffering discovers the actual purpose of her quest. She then sets out, in sadness and hope, to fulfill that quest.
