Four brothers of bravery, greed, kindness, and strength, better known as The Promising Few of Hazelton, compete for their citizens' vote to become the first known King of Hazelton. These four brothers were gifted at birth, making them greater than the normal man. But behind each gift there is a weakness that keeps them from reaching their full potential.
The death of their parents left the brothers to be sole protectors of their city, causing confusion and chaos. The brother's find that their parent's last wish was for one of them to be chosen as King of Hazelton. This noble title, as well as their desires and weaknesses, turn these brothers against each other. The citizens of Hazelton struggle to understand which brother is best fit to be their king, prompting these brothers to go on a long regretful trip. They battle Mother Nature, monstrous creatures, and each other to reach a witch's cave to learn who will be king. After becoming the first king of his city, the chosen one finds his destiny to be full of dismay.
