This is the collection of poetry, written by my mother, Joanie. Throughout my life, she shared some of her poems with me. Always working to perfect, searching for the right word and never quite satisfied. Her poems were the windows to her soul. As I sifted through her papers, I understood their true meanings and understood more of who she was as a mother, a woman, and a giver. To be honest and true, to live the authentic life, never to be a victim, to come from strength and be strong, To Walk the Walk. To give for the sake of giving, was her life's journey.
