The Night Shadow - America's Next Super Hero is an action packed story of a super hero crime fighter with fantasy mixed in, i.e., a Bionic ankle replacement, a black-out motorcycle that can jump over trucks, and special crime fighting weapons. There's romance too, with a detective on the Miami Police Department.
A must read for any young woman... or any woman or man.
Jimi Perez, is a Hispanic star college athlete, a Black Belt in Karate and an Olympic hopeful gymnast. Then Jimi suffered a severe ankle break.
Her Olympic dream was gone! She could never do her karate kicks again, and she lost her track scholarship.
Jimi had to move back home. The only job Jimi could find was as a cocktail waitress at a Gentleman's Club where the Miami Mafia hung out.
Jimi thought her life couldn't get any worse. Then it did. She was beaten and raped.
Along came Dr. Edwards with a medical discovery, a Bionic ankle replacement.
Jimi could now run, kick and jump beyond human limits, like never before!
Dr. Edwards also developed a black-out motorcycle that could jump over trucks, and several specialized individual superhero weapons for Jimi.
Jimi was handed a second chance at life... and a dangerous new purpose. With the help of Dr. Edwards, Jimi would become the Night Shadow.
By night, the Night Shadow becomes a relentless vigilante, fighting crime throughout Miami, Florida.
By day, Jimi would struggle to uncover the truths about her past, and she would try to navigate a troublesome romance with a Miami Organized Crime Unit Detective.
In an action-packed series of Villains, the Night Shadow would take on the Miami Mafia, the Mexican Drug Cartel and the South American Drug Lords.
The Night Shadow would get her revenge on her rapist.
The Night Shadow would also take on the evil Ms. Italian Snake, and an eccentric master criminal known as QuestionMark. QuestionMark would send a riddle with clues to the Miami Police, just hours before his next heist!
The Night Shadow would also have to fight Lindsey Johnston, aka Lady Scorpion, a master cat-burglar for hire, who also wanted her man!
There is an unexpected ending, making the reader want for more! (Next book?)
