The New Testament in Old Context looks past the last 2,000 years of Christian tradition and evolution of doctrine opting rather to present the New Testament, Yahshua (aka Jesus) and the covenant he inaugurated in the context of the Old Testament and 1st century orthodoxy without the bias of religious tradition or doctrine. As much as people struggle to reconcile the many hard and seemingly contradictory passages of the Bible, a clear, concise, systematic and properly contextualized walkthrough will greatly help assuage their lingering doubts and clear up much confusion.
If you think you might be ready to challenge your preconceived notions of the New Testament, and you're eager to see it in a completely different and logical light, you'll want to read this.
Can you articulate the details of the new covenant effectively? Can you explain why it became necessary, what problems it solves, where it was prophesied in the Old Testament and for whom it was intended? Are you aware of the Holy Spirit's stated role in this process? This SHOULD be fundamental, basic information for anybody who desires to live according to the Bible, and yet very few people that you ask have any clear answers.
