The Mentally Illest
By Kaleigh Gold, author of Poems for Sluts
A love letter to the unwell, the undone, and the undeniably alive.
What happens when the mind becomes both muse and monster?
In TMI or The Mentally Illest, Kaleigh Gold cracks open the glossy shell of modern sanity and serves it raw-bleeding honesty, black humour, and the kind of beauty that only grows from chaos.
This isn't a self-help book. It's a mirror. A manifesto. A panic attack dressed in sequins.
Through sharp prose and unfiltered poetry, Gold explores what it means to live loud in the shadow of mental illness-balancing depression and desire, hunger and healing, relapse and rebirth-every ache alchemized into art.
Inside, you'll find:
- Authentic notebook pages written mid-delirium
- Hindsight notes from the author's recovery and relapse cycles
- Cheeky poetry that flirts with darkness and laughs in its face
- A reminder that even the broken ones can shine brighter than anyone expects
For the ones who feel too much.
For the ones who keep going anyway.
For the ones who turn their pain into punchlines and poetry.
The Mentally Illest is not about fixing yourself-it's about owning every last cracked, glittering piece.
Perfect for fans of:
Sabrina Benaim, Michaela Angemeer, Rupi Kaur, and anyone who's ever laughed through a breakdown.
