Originally psychographed in Portuguese by Helaine Coutinho Sabbadini and dictated by the wise spirit Nathanael, The Last Lagidians is a monumental spiritual masterpiece that unveils the intricate workings of divine justice, reincarnation, and the healing power of love across critical historical eras. The epic narrative traces the rise and fall of Egypt's final sovereign lineage, the Ptolemaic or Lagid Dynasty, which was founded in 304 BC by Ptolemy I Soter, a loyal general of Alexander the Great.
Three centuries later, the destiny of Egypt rests on the shoulders of Neathea VII Philopator, famously known as Cleopatra. Raised in the sacred initiatory temples of Hathor, Neathea possesses immense magnetism, political wisdom, and a commanding voice. Her path becomes inextricably linked with that of the Roman general Marcus Antonius (Mark Antony), with whom she shares a profound, millenary spiritual bond. Together, they establish a powerful political and romantic alliance, aiming to restore Egypt's grand pharaonic traditions and secure the succession of Neathea's eldest son, Caesarion, the rightful heir of Julius Caesar.
Their grand ambitions are fiercely opposed by Caius Octavius Thurinus, who launches a ruthless propaganda campaign painting Neathea as an evil enchantress. This geopolitical tension culminates in the historic Battle of Actium in 31 BC, where the superior naval strategies of Roman admiral Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and relentless storms shatter the Egyptian fleets. Following the defeat, Octavius employs a cruel deception, falsely informing Antonius that his wife and children are dead. Devastated by grief, Antonius commits suicide, and Neathea, heartbroken by the brutal murder of Caesarion and unwilling to be paraded as a prisoner through the streets of Rome, also ends her life in her mausoleum.
Their tragic double suicide plunges their souls into a nightmarish spiritual region of remorse and suffering. Yet, the law of evolution and divine mercy always provides a path for redemption. The novel reaches its beautiful conclusion in Rome in the year 35 AD, where these bound souls have reincarnated once more to begin their purification. Neathea is reborn as Sélene, a rebellious and proud young Jewish slave girl who is purchased by a kind Roman family. In this setting, her path crosses with a young soldier at the beginning of his career, Titus Flavius Vespasianus, who is the reincarnated Marcus Antonius. Under the rising influence of Christ's Gospel, which has begun to spread across Rome, their souls find the ultimate strength to soften ancient bitterness, transform pride into humility, and demonstrate that the generous law of reincarnation always grants humanity the opportunities needed to find true spiritual peace.
