The Jesus Legend in Rome by Gerald Massey is a historical analysis of the impact of the story of Jesus on the Roman Empire. Massey explores the origins of the Jesus story and how it was adapted and used by early Christians to gain influence and support in Rome. He also delves into the political and social climate of the time, and how the Jesus legend was used to challenge the authority of the Roman Empire. Massey argues that the Jesus story was not a unique occurrence, but rather a continuation of a long tradition of mythological figures and stories. He also examines the role of the Roman Catholic Church in shaping the Jesus story and its impact on Western civilization. This book is a thought-provoking exploration of the history and mythology surrounding the Jesus legend and its impact on the world.THIS 24 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: Ancient Egypt the Light of the World Part 2, by Gerald Massey.
