The Heart Lied is a steamy romance with women who love women and dogs a plenty. Take that mix and add an lgbtqa island and you have yourself a winning combo...With one of her oldest college roommates getting married July 4th weekend in Provincetown Ma, Miranda Easter at 34 years old must face her fears and her ex at one of the biggest shows of this decade, at least that is what the invitation had stated. With a week long celebration of ridiculous activities to bond the wedding party and against her better judgement, Miranda agrees last minute to attend but not before parking her motor home as far away from any motels where her ex could or might be staying at. Before announcing she has arrived for the festivities, Miranda sneaks off to a whale watch alone to think. With little distraction and help from a sly military service dog, she meets a down to earth surgeon whom like herself also is escaping last minute from the same wedding. Can an unlikely duo come to terms on a better way to spend their time while in town? And can a woman named Dr. Rebecca Yorke from Boston Ma fall for a broken, however incredibility successful private investigator named Miranda Easter? Will their worlds finally come crashing down around them for the final act or will the stars a line and come together for one last show. Provincetown Ma, will never be the same again!
