Imagine you're a doctor in 2181, on sabbatical on Mars to research the extinct Martians, deep within the titanic Face on Mars. Now imagine - using Martian technology - you've traveled to Alaska 168 years in the past to solve a baffling medical mystery. But, before returning home, terrorists have destroyed the only means to return to 2181 Mars. You're now marooned in 2013! How will you survive - and risk healing the sick - using 22nd century science?
I enjoyed this sci fi thriller. Great suspense and plot development and great surprise ending.

Gripping page turner. Mr. Roberts is an amazing writer. I cannot wait for his next novel!!! The healer is perfect for a TV series.
- Fernando Diaz & Nicki Feldman
What secrets does the face on Mars REALLY hide? The Healer is a terrific read for science fiction fans or anyone who just loves a good adventure novel. It contains a conspiracy and an ideological seduction that rivals the best conspiracy stories out there.
- Clabe
It will make you think - What if? There are religious elements to the storyline which are written in sympathetically. Overall it is an entertaining read which will make you think - what if?
- Rukia the Reader
Time Travel Done Right. The Healer really is a wonderfully woven tale, and plot is a huge strength of the author.
- Loretta Lynn
