In one night, Conrad had been kidnapped, dragged across a large, dark campus, met two fox-like girls, shoved into a house on the edge of a cliff, and woken up to a girl in his bed. He could only imagine what the next morning would bring.

Thanks to a 200-year-old curse, Conrad Greymore is the last magical boy in the realm. Now, he's being invited to attend the Noblerock School for Magical Beings, where he meets a cast of crazy friends like the fighting fire-throwing twins, the fox-like sisters, a girl obsessed with making wild (and sometimes dangerous) potions, and a headmistress with a pet bear. For the first time in years, Conrad finally feels like he belongs somewhere.

But not everything is perfect at Noblerock. Something is lurking in the shadows, and it wants Conrad, and will stop at nothing to get him, including picking off the people he loves. And when one of his friends disappears, he and the others face a terrible choice: Leave her or risk all of their lives.
