The story is based on an 8-year-old girl named Sophia, who lives with her parents and brother in poverty. She goes to school and compares her circumstances to her peers who are doing far better than her, having the most popular and trending things that make a student cool. She becomes tired of seeing this on a daily basis and decides to find out how these students and their parents' are able to fund these lifestyles. She makes mistakes that makes her regret her actions, in search for redemption.
Her father is blessed with a promotion at work and offered a trip to visit Egypt as a reward from his employer for his hard work. The girl begins her journey learning about the power of gratitude and the importance of being close to God in times of ease and in times of hardship. She begins to realise the most important lessons to learn are those that are learnt through calamities to get through it with steadfastness, patience, striving for positivity allowing her to become a stronger person when she reaches the other side.
A story that breaks Sophia's heart in immeasurable pieces on multiple occasions. She has been through so much loss, but still tries her best to keep going through the hardships. Sophia is only 8 years old, the significant difference that can be made by a small insignificant person. She makes a big difference; she breaks through the challenges with endurance and strong hope with trust in God's divine plan.
