In The Good Friday Hoax, author and independent Methodist pastor Al Shifflet exposes the great hoax of Christ's final week on Earth. Zeroing in on Holy Week, Shifflet accounts for Christ's activities leading up to his crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection. Rooted in scripture, Shifflet's claim calls into question the validity of Good Friday. In the Bible, it states that Christ would be buried for three days and three nights just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights. That's 72 hours. So why do Christians condense three days into two?
