The Global Christ by Roy Lawson Tawes is a book that explores the concept of Christ as a global figure. The author argues that the traditional Western view of Christ as a white, European man is limiting and that Christ is a universal figure who transcends all cultures and races. Tawes draws upon a variety of sources, including the Bible, theology, and history, to support his argument. He also examines the impact of colonialism and globalization on the way Christ has been portrayed and understood throughout the world. The book is a thought-provoking exploration of the role of Christ in a globalized world and challenges readers to rethink their understanding of this important figure. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
