Based on true events, a comical adventure of two 12 year old boys that happened over the summer of 1982 when they built a 9 room wood fort that towered over 15 feet tall and withstood wind storms and high school pranksters. Through their adventures they bonded during the construction of an epic fort. They also enjoyed football, video games, fishing and swimming pool escapades along the way. By the end of the summer, they discover girls are actually pretty cool. It was written to encourage activity and stimulate the imagination to seek a world beyond smartphones and gaming. The 12 year old characters in the book do mention the words farts boobies pee and poop. If these words are unknown or offensive to the child reading the book, it's not for them.
