An anthology brought together by the passage of time. In which a naive young girl meets another naive girl. They become two worlds that slowly drift apart across the chess board till only their kings remain. Standing on opposite ends, still moving further apart. Time can change us, them and relationships into the very thing you never thought they could become. Non death loss, can feel a lot like losing something very special. Even if they were only standing in your way. The good, the bad and ugly memories flood in slowly at first. Mixing together based on your mood. Remember them all and feel what you must. Grief isn't brief or linear. It's big, and comes crashing down when we least expect it. So find someone new to play mermaids with and relearn how to swim.
Ending thoughts.
Peace comes hard, when peace comes easy.
Hearts often break, but never break even.
As much as I wrote this book about you, I really wrote it for you. For your Gemini sun, craved knowledge and this would be the road map to how your pain flowed. For your aquarius moon made you wish for people to see you for the individual you are. So it couldn't be generic. And you Capricorn rising wanted financial gain, so I sold it.
In the way my scorpio sun wanted vengeance, and my cancer rising wanted to feel rather than move on. My Taurus moon wouldn't let me forget so I wrote this book. Therein lies the beauty of pain. May she grant you a harder road for the next simple choice of walking away.
