A chilling horror novella by the author of Pine Lakes.Emery and his younger brother Frank thought the move to their grandfather's farm would be a fresh start, a new beginning, a chance to leave their stale and cramped existence in Red Hook behind. Summer brought exciting adventures, new experiences, and the freedom to become anything they wanted. But summer never lasts forever.Emery and Frank soon learn they aren't alone. The once-vibrant forest has become a much darker place, one hiding secrets they could have never imagined. As winter storms bury them in several feet of snow, the brothers are forced to not only confront the real-life horror of their father's alcoholism, but also the possibility of never leaving the farm alive.'The Farm' shows us the claustrophobic horrors of solitude, the effects of paralyzing fear, and the extent to which we'll go to survive. There are secrets hidden in the snow... ones that bite.
