Why name my story The Elephant Buttons? Long ago elephants roamed our land. And when they were shot out, only their pathways were left behind. A tiny bit of that land was awarded to Nor's husband for being a soldier. They built a little cottage, it was to be their new life together. Living in that strange place; the bush baby's cry, the great Kudu's bark and the Leopard's breathy roar scared Nor. She called for her Welsh faeries to help her. They turned the farm into a magical place by using the ancient elephant pathway with great respect. Only there was a being who lived there too, You-Know-Who! He scared the old farmworker Frans silly. This story is about conquering fear. 24683 words
