Simon's history of love and hate, intrigue and conflict that is yet to be told seems to have caught up with him and now the only questions seems to be how many lives will be claimed in the mess of rivalry, old trespasses and occultism.The follow up of Eat You Alive offers a more compact story, continuing a few years after the first book left off. The themes of sex, blood and violence remain, as well and intrigue, love and war as the ever strange bedfellows. If you liked the first novel, you will not be disappointed. If you found the first book appalling, don't even go near this one. Mature themes. Reader discretion is advised.
