What would you do if your butt suddenly went missing?
One day in Stickland, a kid wakes up to discover something is very wrong. His butt is gone.
At first, he assumes it's a prank. Or maybe a mistake. But as he searches high and low, asking friends, neighbors, and even his cat, panic sets in. How can you sit? How can you play? And worst of all... how do you face your friends when something so important has disappeared?
As emotions bubble up and misunderstandings grow, the kid learns a big lesson about patience, kindness, and taking responsibility. With help from others and a little self-reflection, he discovers that solving a problem isn't just about finding what's missing... sometimes it's about fixing what was broken along the way.
The Day My Butt Went Missing is a funny, heartfelt picture book about friendship, forgiveness, and growing up. Told in playful rhyme with whimsical stick-figure illustrations, it helps kids navigate big feelings like frustration, blame, and regret, all while delivering plenty of laughs.
Perfect for ages 4-8, this story reminds readers that while butts are important for sitting... understanding and empathy matter even more.
Because mistakes happen.
Feelings get hurt.
But real friends find their way back.
