When you feel alone, what do you do?
Do you construct imaginary castles, or
Do you build a fortress to stay aloof?
People say grief breaks you.
It is very personal. Intense. A throbbing pain. It builds you. Re-shapes you. It is a stark confirmation that you are alive.
My poems are like a pantomime of emotions. A sum of experiences lived and cherished. An epitaph of grief, adorned with resilience, standing tall next to glimmering candelabra of hope and reassurance. You will meet a mother with a scarred womb; a daughter reminiscing her father; a young girl grappling with deep entrenched questions; and a vast sky of hope, renewal, and eternal resurrection from its own ashes.
A piece of me - a world for you!
