On a bustling stretch of Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana, California, God placed a vision on the hearts of Clif and Diane, a vision to create a haven for His people. Out of that vision was born The Christian Café, not just a restaurant, but a sanctuary where believers could gather, rejoice, and find fellowship away from the noise and temptations of the world.
As Diane prepared to welcome her own child into the world, she and Clif poured their hearts into nurturing another kind of family, God's family. With a baby growing inside her, Diane stood behind the counter, prayed over the tables, and watched as the café became a home where lives were transformed. In the midst of morning sickness and midnight feedings, she witnessed strangers become friends, friends become family, and some even become husband and wife.
The Christian Café hosted birthday parties filled with laughter, open mic nights lifted high with praise, and countless gatherings where the Holy Spirit's presence was unmistakable. It became a lighthouse in the community, reminding all who entered that they were never alone in their walk with Christ.
With honesty, warmth, and deep emotion, Diane shares how God's faithfulness carried her through motherhood and ministry at the very same time. This is more than the story of a restaurant, it is the story of divine purpose, holy fellowship, and the beauty of new life, both in her arms and in the lives of all who entered those doors.
The Christian Café is a testimony of love, community, and God's miracles, a reminder that when we say yes to Him, He multiplies our offering in ways beyond anything we could imagine.
