The Chase is the first in a series of plays forming a trilogy. It is the story about the beginning stages and early growth of a volunteer inner-city ministry the author directed while a ministry student. The author is actually chased by a street gang and it tells how his life was spared by God. There are other exciting events including some characters turning to Christ.
The project is called Project 521 after the number of the first target building located in a low-income, gang-controlled, inner-city housing project area. The project name has been changed and the school location is kept anonymous.
