This short, charming book can be enjoyed by adults and children alike, and will inspire a love of words and poetry in youngsters. Muffin is a beautiful cat who is determined to play the classical guitar, just like his owner, Liona. How Muffin secretly learns to play, and then seize the right moment to make his concert dream come true, teaches kids that nothing in life comes without tremendous focus and effort.
The audiobook includes eleven simple guitar pieces played, of course, by Muffin.
Liona Boyd is a five time Juno Award winner, has five honorary doctorates, several Lifetime Achievement awards, is an Officer of the Order of Canada, received the Order of Ontario, and has recorded twenty-nine albums, many of which are Gold and Platinum. She has performed solo classical guitar and orchestral concerts around the world, given private concerts for dozens of heads of state, including the US president and Queen of England, guested three times on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and has had her own TV specials. Liona's Winter Fantasy concert was broadcast on PBS and CBC's Gem. In 2009 she added vocals and became a singer songwriter as well as a classical guitarist. Liona has many YouTube videos and has written two bestselling autobiographies.
