Two sisters. Two male adversaries. One fae crown.
Tangle used to be a fae princess, and so did her sister Mossy, but their kingdom was toppled by the Winter Court, and now they cower in the mortal world, hiding from Winter's agents. But then Mossy is captured and taken off to Faerie, where the Winter King hastily marries her, claiming their union is a political move to cement peace between the contentious faerie courts. The Winter King? Literally a beast, with claws and fur and a horrible personality. Even so, he's somehow sort of... attractive. And he has a voice so deep it makes Mossy warm in the wrong places. But she hates him. Obviously. Meanwhile, Tangle is doing everything in her power to get her sister back, but the only weapon she knows of strong enough to fight the Winter King lies buried deep in the Red Wood, and almost no one who ever enters that magical forest ever comes back out. To make matters worse, Tangle is pursued by Wesson Saint, who's working for the Winter King and has orders to capture her. Wesson is sort of the object of her adolescent ardor, but that's been over for years. If only he didn't still look so good...Also in
