Good conquers evil. Angels verses demons. Amanda Sheldon, your typical, introverted teenager, would be the first to tell you that these things didn't exist. Not in the real world... That is, until she meets Jacob, a guardian angel living here on earth. After a tragic accident takes her mother's life, Amanda slides into a deep depression, taking her down a road of desperation. Watching over Amanda as she plots to take her life, Jacob decides to break the rules and become human, causing uproar with both the guardians and dark angels. Jacob will become the one person that can show Amanda that life is worth living, and the same person that will put her life in the worst danger either of them could have ever imagined. Being allowed to see him meant that he had broken the promise-the promise that was thousands of years old between the guardians and the dark angels to never interfere with fate. Allowing himself to become human would open the door for a dark angel to do the same. A dark angel that will stop at nothing to manipulate the people Amanda loves; doing whatever it takes to get what he feels is rightfully his-her soul. Will Jacob be strong enough to save her? Or will a dark angel entice Amanda with an offer she can't refuse...
