-ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Jeff Horton is a father of two, grandfather of five, and lifelong storyteller to them all. With a background in engineering and a childhood spent tinkering and building for fun, the tale of Johnny was born from his own past adventures. Jeff lives in suburban Philadelphia, where he balances his role as a partner in an engineering and sales company with his love of motorcycles, the occasional fishing trip, and, most of all, sharing stories with his grandchildren.
-ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Maggie Reckers has been painting professionally for over thirteen years and creating art since she was a young kid-whether building an elaborate stick fort in her childhood woods or filling her first hardback sketchbook in the fourth grade. A few years ago, Maggie and her husband, Skylar, stepped into the world of parenthood, which has sparked endless inspiration to create more. This is Maggie's first picture book and has been a dream of hers since that first hardback sketchbook.
