The Ancient Psalms In Appropriate Metres is a book written by Hapstone and Dalman in 1867. The book contains a collection of Psalms from the Bible, which have been translated into appropriate meters for singing in religious services. The authors have taken great care to ensure that the translations are accurate and faithful to the original text, while also making them accessible to modern readers. The book is intended for use by church choirs and congregations, as well as individuals who wish to sing the Psalms in a more musical and melodic way. The Psalms are arranged in numerical order, and each one is accompanied by a brief introduction that provides context and background information. The Ancient Psalms In Appropriate Metres is a valuable resource for anyone interested in religious music and the history of Christian worship. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
