This collection of poems is meant to be a reflection of my walk with God. The unvarnished, unbridled expression of the thoughts and emotions I have wrestled with. I still wrestle with. The understanding I have of Christ is that if he can handle and forgive what was done to him on the cross, he can handle anything my soul may utter on a given day. These are the utterances of my soul, but they are still just snapshots of conversations I've had with my Maker.

I wanted to share them so that it may embolden the reader to share with God the deep things their soul wishes to say but they have been told that it's inappropriate to address Our Father in a way that isn't mechanical or ritualistic. A thorough reading of Psalms, however, proves that even the holiest of men is not afraid to lay the entire contents of their soul bare before God and he receives them as Holy to the Lord.
