In 2013, Phil Gallaher began showing signs of dementia. In 2018, he scored a zero, the worst possible score, on the standard test for dementia.
From 2018-2020, Phil's wife, Diane, his son, Pax, and his daughter-in-law, Cindy, cared for him. Working two weeks on/two weeks off, Pax, Cindy, and Diane would push themselves to their physical and emotional limits. They also grew closer and found new ways to love one another.
Through Pax's straightforward, descriptive, and often humorous perspective, the Gallaher family history is chronicled.
