Test management in industrial control technology

Testing is an important part of modern software development. This applies to software development in general, but particularly to the development of PLC programmes. The company 'TGW Logistics Group' specialises in intralogistics and offers corresponding solutions for this sector. Appropriate PLC programmes are also used to operate these systems. The development of new PLC programmes and the extension of existing PLC programmes also requires these PLC programmes to be tested. An automated test system is intended to support PLC programmers in their work and reduce the time required to create and execute these tests. This thesis therefore deals with the test management framework, including its functions and processes.
