Ted is a green iguana who lives near the beach in the small fishing village of San Alejo in Ecuador, South America. He seemed to be in great distress when I ran across him while walking along the beach one morning. I asked him what was wrong and this is the story of what he told me.
Ken Kidd is a Vietnam-era Air Force veteran who has had experience in a variety of fields since being honorably discharged. He has been a waiter, bartender, police officer, private investigator, car salesman, insurance salesman, airline representative, computer tech support agent and an actor. He spent three years in Ecuador where he met his little green friend, Ted, and decided to humanize him with a poem. Ken currently lives in Florida with his wife Lyndell, two dogs and a cat.
