Morrigan has spent years perfecting the ultimate ritual- one that will finally lift her from her earthbound existence and grant her a place among the celestial powers. She has the perfect lunar alignment, the rarest components, and enough magical ambition to fuel a dozen ascensions.

What she doesn't have is a plan for what to do when an actual angel crashes into her ritual circle.

Cassiel's fall from grace is as literal as it is devastating. Stripped of his divine purpose and saddled with an inconveniently large wingspan, he's about as far from heavenly as a celestial being can get. His wings can't even fold properly, let alone carry him home.

Now the witch who desperately wants to reach the sky is stuck with a fallen angel who can't get off the ground. Between Morrigan's failed transcendence attempts and Cassiel's complete inability to navigate doorways without destroying furniture, they're both learning that sometimes the most unlikely family forms when you're not looking up- but looking out for each other.

With the help of Soot, Morrigan's long-suffering dire wolf, they'll discover that finding where you belong might matter more than reaching where you think you're supposed to be.

A heartwarming tale of cosmic misfits, domestic chaos, and discovering that home isn't always about blood- sometimes it's about who's willing to help you sweep up the feathers.
