This book is a fictionalized account of one man's journey through the trials of life and the redeeming power of love and peace. Just as every droplet of water, or intricately designed snowflake drifts to earth unique in its own making, we each carry our own purpose and blueprint to bring to this world. Imagine feeling emotionally lost, long estranged from family and friends, then being witness to others celebrating the Christmas and holiday season all the while ignoring the meaning behind the giving of gifts. This book invites the unfolding of many treasures as it weaves its unique tale into a magical story where love can make the difference. It is a story to share with people of all cultures and any faith for it is truly a story of hope.
Ms. Booth earned her M.S. at the University of Utah. She is a writer, professor, and researcher into the area of trauma and issues pertaining to the ramifications therein. She has worked in the criminal justice system, and in juvenile and adult addictions. Her work as a counselor in a Newborn Intensive Care Center and on the crisis team required expertise and training in handling critical situations. She has also taught at the university level for twenty-two years. She has advanced training in attachment and the importance of a healthy prenatal environment. Ms. Booth worked as a drug and gang specialist in a local school district where she presented at a conference on violence intervention. Working with the individual who is at-risk because of personal life experiences and lack of healthy emotional connection, awareness, and adaptation has been a topic Ms. Booth has been concerned with for over forty years. She is a strong advocate for children and families and promotes the ability of each person to be a messenger of peace. Her first priority has always been family and strengthening relationships therein.
