One of those times she chased a bear, got injured and became helpless and lost in the wild. Now the friends are eighteen and face one of life's greater forks in the road. But for Sugar Dog, whose fourteenth birthday is coming up in early fall, there is no fork. All that remains is love, and the ultimate path all living beings must take.
