Turtle Trouble at Cedar Creek! A Hilarious Tale of Turtle Justice in Texas is a
hilarious middle-grade adventure about burgers, best intentions, and a ragtag
group of amateur heroes.
When a boy and his dad escape their crowded Houston home for a Sunday
burger at the Cedar Creek Grill, they expect peace, not chaos. But when a
sneaky thief steals the café's beloved snapping turtles, an unlikely posse
forms. including a lazy hound dog, two iced-tea-loving old timers, a
hairdresser with questionable skills, and the self-declared Cajun Navy. What
starts as a simple lunch spirals into a muddy, wild chase involving a jon boat,
kitchen tongs, a suspicious cooler, and a very confused news crew.
Full of heart, humor, and hijinks, Turtle-Trouble celebrates small heroes,
ridiculous adventures, and the quirky magic of ordinary places. Based on a
true event, this story proves that sometimes the best adventures happen
when you least expect them...and that justice always prevails. Also in
