TROUBLE IN MONARTO - REVENANCE: Unfinished Business
In the first book, Trouble In Monarto, arch villain Cassandra was able to escape justice. This fact had long annoyed Alex Jaeger and friends, who had foiled Cassandra's evil design, but there now appears a second chance to settle the score when Spinoza's niece comes to Alex, now working as a private detective, with a threatening note which had been slipped under her hotel room door.
Throughout this second adventure, while seeking final justice, Alex finds himself distracted by the fact that he is growing older, becoming more circumspect and realising that his hell-raising days might be over, necessarily giving way to a less self-serving and more fulfilling existence to become the husband and friend those around him deserve.
