This volume of the Treatise on Social Security is organized into four main parts: - A historical and general section presenting the foundations of social security, - A section on the various branches of social security (health, family, retirement, etc.), detailing their mechanisms, and a section on the organization and financing of the socialsecurity system, including contributions and administrative agencies.- A section discussing the organization, financing, and administrative institutions of the general social security system in the DRC, providing an overview of the various funds and agencies (Family Allowances, Health Insurance, Pension Insurance, etc.), as well as the monitoring and collection of social security contributions.- A section that concludes by discussing occupational medicine and its main responsibilities .- Occupational health and safety in the workplace, and employers' obligations regarding health and safety.
