The Treasure is an exciting story that highlights the power of perseverance, family love and the desire to always do good, even in the darkest moments, through the sudden experiences that a humble peasant must live, whose life gives a unexpected twist when he discovers a valuable treasure while he works hard on his small farm. This story invites us to reflect on the importance of Faith and Hope, and also courage in the midst of a chaotic world.
In the midst of the armed conflict, where violence and uncertainty reign, our protagonist faces a moral dilemma. Although he knows that with that treasure he can ensure a better life for himself and his son. He is also aware that this incredible discovery can have dangerous consequences for him and his family, in a hostile environment, where greed, corruption, envy and anxiety abound everywhere.
Finally, father and son decide that the most sensible thing to do is to escape from their place of origin, taking with them that valuable treasure, a relic of our aboriginal ancestors, which is why, with no other alternative, they decide to once and for all undertake a dangerous journey to the capital of the country, where they hope to find refuge and safety.
In the city, the two pilgrims find a new world to discover. However, their courage and determination allow them to establish themselves temporarily and in the meantime they decide to cancel some outstanding debts, and also share part of that treasure with certain characters, so that they can improve, in a certain way, their precarious living conditions, and They can also fulfill their most cherished dreams.
Although despite multiple efforts to remain hidden, threats persist. The safety of Don Julián and his son continue to be in danger, so they decide to undertake another trip, this time to an even more distant place, in search of a safer refuge and the opportunity to start a new life. In his new country, Don Julián Gómez faces new challenges and makes friends with people from different origins and cultures. Through these experiences, he discovers the importance of empathy and solidarity, and becomes an advocate for the rights of immigrants and the most vulnerable.
As the years pass and the signing of peace in Colombia, Don Julián feels the call to return to his homeland. Now that the violence has subsided, he wants to reconnect with his roots and rebuild his life on his beloved plot of land.
Back in his homeland, Don Julián finds solace and redemption. His perspective has changed, and he is now determined to use that same treasure as a tool to help his own mistreated community. With a renewed vision, Don creates a social project that benefits those most in need, providing opportunities for education, health and economic development.
