Tomanji wanted to throw Winnie the perfect party - all by himself. It did NOT go well.
It's Winnie's hundredth birthday, and Tomanji is determined to make the most wonderful surprise party ever - and to do every single part himself, as his gift. But the cake comes out lopsided. The decorations droop. The tables collapse. His singing is dreadful, and the invitations are all muddled. The party is tomorrow, and everything is going wrong!
Then a wise old friend asks a simple question: who said you had to do it all yourself? And Tomanji realizes the secret - he doesn't have to be great at everything. He just has to find the friends who are! A warm, funny story about knowing your strengths, asking for help, and discovering that the best things are made by many hands, each doing what they do best.
- A cozy, funny story for ages 3-7
- Teaches that nobody is great at everything - and that asking the right people for help makes something far grander - through story, never a lecture
- A whole-community celebration where everyone's talent shines
- Includes a Note for Grown-Ups, talking points, and a free Team Up! activity
- Book 18 of the Woodland Cents series
You needn't be great at every part - just find the friends, and share the heart.
