Seaver's life took him from his hometown of Fresno, California to the big leagues with the Mets, where he helped them win the 1969 World Series. Along the way, Seaver made stops with teams in Cincinnati and Chicago, where career milestones were set. Then he completed his baseball journey in Cooperstown, New York, where in 1992 Seaver was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
