The book To London by Jacques Casanova is a memoir of the author's travels to London in the 18th century. Casanova, a famous adventurer and womanizer, provides a detailed account of his experiences in the city, including his encounters with various notable figures and his romantic escapades. The book also offers a glimpse into the social and cultural landscape of London during that time period, as well as Casanova's own observations and opinions on the city and its people. Overall, To London is a fascinating read for anyone interested in history, travel, and the life of one of the most notorious figures of the 18th century.Madame Cornelis then made her appearance, and everyone asked her the same questions, and made the same remarks about me. She said bravely that I was her best and her oldest friend, and that the likeness between me and her daughter might possibly be capable of explanation. Everyone laughed and said it was very natural that it should be so.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
