This is Rhett Vorster's part 3 of his memoirs (part 2 is 'Through Christ'). This book continues the story of his big struggles and little victories, as he found himself in Louisiana, trying to survive and take care of his wife at the same time, as she waited for him in Mexico. But Uncle Sam thought it was finally worthwhile to give Rhett a break, and so he was able to return to his wife. They met up in Monterrey and started the next chapter in their lives. And yet, not content to live next to a dirty neighbor, and still trying to get her green card, and being led by God even when they were not sure, they made a journey to Juarez. Soon after they arrived, and realizing that staying there was not possible, they remembered a small town they saw on their journey, and that is what drove them to come to the city called Chihuahua, where they were pleasantly surprised with what they found, continuing to learn how to live in ways they never imagined, continuing to explore his wife's homeland with her, and extending their knowledge of life north of Mexico City. His poetry is included toward the end of the book. (The illustrations and photos included in the book were produced by the author.)
