Seven years in the making, this collection holds all that I am and have seen. From my first poem I wrote for my dad when he passed in 2006, to the poems and prose written through pain and grief, and to the poems written to heal broken hearts and my times in Brazil. This work has been a release for myself and my line, we were taught to hide and blend in. Well I refuse to, not when we are full of songs and colorful rhythms. Sometimes we feel the world is not made for us, but that is a lie, we make worlds just on our own. With anointings and love we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. For me, it was a world of poems and prose, but for you it could be whatever He told you to do.
