My name is Glen Farmer Illortaminni
and I'm telling my story. Once I went to Paris as an
interpreter for the old fella, the famous artist named
Timothy Cook. He's my uncle and he was having
a show in Paris.
It was October when we went on that trip...
When Glen travels from his remote Tiwi Island home all the way to Paris, his trip takes an unexpected turn when he gets lost on his first night there.
What follows is an epic journey through famous French landmarks and into the homes of kind strangers, telling an incredible story of resilience, humor, and perseverance.
This beautifully illustrated book follows the story of a Tiwi Islander man suddenly adrift in one of the world's most famous metropolises. Featuring the stunning artistry of Glen Farmer Illortaminni, this unforgettable tale is a heartwarming celebration of cultures and shared humanity.
