The fictional Hollycroft International Airport's new owners eagerly await the outcome of the 2nd Public Local Inquiry. The decision will determine whether a new permanent terminal will be built to replace the Temporary Passenger Facility. Flymeaway Babe have rebranded to form Flyme Airways. They continue to operate but for how long? The new owners World Wide Airports Ltd bring in a new Lithuanian airline Lush Air. The hostility with the money men at Property International continues. There's now a new Airport Director. The Local Planning Authority, LPA and the Protestors continue to watch the goings on at the airport. And what of Samantha the senior cabin crew member of Flyme Airways does she finally get her man? Robin Rich the Financial Director of Flymeaway Travel Group FTG starts to reduce the number of operational flights as part of his big plan. This will have financial consequences for the Group. It will see passenger throughput drop from a high of three quarters of a million passengers to just over six hundred thousand. Robin is looking to move all the aircraft to the new recently opened RAF Lilac Airport in South Yorkshire, soon to be renamed John Wesley International. John Wesley International is one of three airports owned by the North East Property Group - Gladstone Development & Property. GDP also own Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports. There's even a visit from the Queen and Prince Phillip. In the background the UK Government is forced to nationalise Northern Rock as the financial crisis hits. The incidents and characters in the story are fictional but the planning issues and financial crisis are real.
