Forced to conform and become the subject of scientific study, Chorkie is drawn into the search for the origins of consciousness, develops ches own model of the universe, and is confronted with a dilemma when a viable plan for escape takes shape.
Chorkie eventually resumes the pilgrimage to Santiago, finds popularity as an after-dinner speaker, and closes the loop on ches journey of self-discovery in this allegorical fantasy of philosophical proportions.
