One of the most destructive propaganda narratives around today is the one promulgated by western liberals which holds that all the crimes Israel has been committing are a historical anomaly caused by Benjamin Netanyahu and a few far right extremists coming to power. That's false. This is what Israel has always been, from its very inception.
This is Israel. This is it. What you're looking at is the only thing Israel could ever have been. What we are seeing from Israel today is the inevitable outcome of the ethnosupremacist, hypermilitaristic, psychopathic ideology upon which the state was founded. Israel's horrific abuses in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria and Iran are the fruits of the tree from a seed that was planted after the second world war.
Netanyahu didn't make Israel the way it is. The way Israel is made Netanyahu. Netanyahu is Israel in its natural state.
