We make fine bourbon. At a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always fine bourbon.
Pappy ran the distillery hands-on into his eighties, mentoring his son Julian Jr. and passing the torch. He died in 1965 at 90, never imagining his name would one day grace the most coveted bottles in the world.
